Authorization with OAuth 2.0 - Stijn Van den Enden & Jan Van den Bergh
OAuth 2.0 is an open standard for authorization and is becoming the de facto standard to integrate with social media like Facebook and Twitter. It allows users to share private resources between sites without having to hand out their credentials.
In this session we will describe how OAuth works compared to similar protocols and how to start using it.

Jan Van den Bergh is a specialist in security and Identity and Access Management, who graduated from the KU Leuven as Master of Computer Science. His main interests are computer and network security, systems integration and software architecture in general. He is currently working for ACA IT-Solutions.
Stijn is CTO at ACA IT-Solutions. His skills include software architecture, designing & implementing enterprise class systems based on JEE and Spring, B2B and WebService integration. He also has a strong background in agile methods. He regularly teaches courses on Java, Patterns, Architecture and JEE. He advises customers on their enterprise system blueprints and their development process. He defines and maintains the technical roadmap for ACA IT-Solutions. Stijn is also a steering member of BeJUG and Devoxx.
