The hero of the movie Deba is a merry – go – round kind of a boy. Deba, son of Chintamani, a small scale businessman and Mandakini, a son-loving lady moves around with his bi-cycle “Garuda” Deba has very special attachment with Garuda and vice versa. Deba’s friends Mitu and Chagul are part of Deba’s Bohemian life.

As the story progresses, Deba comes across Madhu Chhanda, daughter of a rich and mighty man Mania thikadar. Eventually they fall in love. But suddenly story takes U turn. Deba and Madhu Chhanda get separated.
In due course of time Deba repents. He understands that he is entirely responsible for the separation and then, he struggles to get back Madhu Chhanda.

And in the climax the story depicts how Deba with active support of Garuda wins over Madhu Chhanda’s heart.
